A Crisis Loan is an award that you can claim if you have emergency needs or have experienced a disaster, such as flooding. The loan is designed to stop you from suffering any effects to your health, or any damage to your property. Who can claim? Crisis Loans can be claimed by anyone – regardless of whether they are on benefits or not. However, unlike a Community Care Grant, the money from the Crisis Fund has to be paid back on a weekly basis.
