The Old Vicarage is committed to offering the best possible care for everyone they support. Every resident has a personal care plan that outlines what and who is important to them, from their perspective. The plan will reflect how the person wants to live and how they want to be supported.

Residential Care

Maintains their welfare and promotes the resident's well-being by taking into account all of their needs, physical, mental, social and emotional.

Respite Care

Full residential care for a short period, often enabling carers to have a break.

Day Care

The same level of care can be given on a day care basis within the home.

Accomodation

There are 40 single en-suite rooms, including three doubles for couples or siblings. 34 are on the ground floor with patio doors.  Rooms may be furnished with your personal property.

Dining

Meals are home cooked using locally sourced ingredients.  Breakfast, tea and supper may be served in your room, lunch is served in the main dining room but another room is available for family gatherings.

Activities

Our award winning activity organizer provides regular and varied activities, trips and concerts with a designated activity room.

Information Technology

Most rooms have wi-fi access. The library has "resident friendly" computers ready to use with Skype, email and internet access.
